Welcome to Powder 2a

Powder 2a is a self contained ground floor studio apartment. Everything you need is in this lovely studio. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible.

Living Area

The galley kitchen has an oven and compact stove, fridge and dishwasher. There is a dining table for four, sofa and TV plus a king size bed.

Location

Powder 2 is on Chimney’s Way. Driving from the village along Friday Drive, turn right at the Sports and Leisure Centre. Powder 2 is located on a cul de sac on the left hand side of Chimney’s way.

For skiers !

With Friday Flat almost on your door step, getting onto the slopes couldn’t be easier. Just a minute’s level walk to the chair lifts and ski school.

In the summertime

Enjoy the majestic views of the mountains. Take a walk to the top of Australia, or a gentler walk along the river. Grab a mountain bike and try out one of the many trails in the area.

Property Location Map

POWDER 2 is located in the new area of Woodridge opposite the Friday Flat ski area. At the first turn off for Thredbo off the Alpine Way turn right onto Friday Drive and follow around the lake through the roundabout and past the Friday Flat ski area. Approx 200 metres on your left after the roundabout you take 1st left onto Chimneys Way. Drive down Chimneys Way. There are the Snowstream chalets on your right and opposite McKenzie Place is a private road on your left. Drive 50 metres up this road and Powder 2 as it looks above is on your left.

It took me some time to find the property that I booked at night. If you could provide a more clear map of the property place that would be better.

Some of the utensils were broken and the sofa bed was old and of poor quality which was very disappointing seeing as both my kids were to sleep upon it and ended up on the floor for comfort.

Code is a great idea via sms but maybe give it a little earlier as phone coverage is so bad in Thredbo with optus.

We loved the accommodation, our only complaint is the hotel mode on the tv was so low we could not here the tv. To some no big deal for us a deal breaker as that is our down time. Thanks

Very easy, spoke with Warren in the first instance, and followed up with lady in the office who was very good to deal with.
So convenient to walk across the road and be on Friday Flat. Had a great stay not long enough.
Had a great time, highly recommended (Powder 2a). Would love to stay longer next time.
